Hi I'm Bre

Tinted was born from a lifelong passion for beauty and an eye for detail. With over 27 years in the industry, my career began as a makeup artist before evolving into hair. I spent time working in the commercial and film industry as a hair and makeup artist before finding my true home behind the chair in a salon setting.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of training under and being mentored by some of Canada's most accomplished and multi-award-winning hairstylists. Their influence, combined with decades of experience, has shaped my approach to creating beautiful, personalized hair that feels effortless and authentic.

I specialize in modern, low-maintenance colour and cutting, including lived-in blondes, dimensional brunettes, brondes, grey blending, and seamless highlighting. I love creating customized cuts—from bobs and bixies to soft, textured short styles—and work confidently with both fine and thick hair textures. I also offer keratin smoothing treatments.

At Tinted, I believe great hair starts with listening. I take the time to understand your goals, lifestyle, and what makes you feel your best. My focus is on creating hair that feels natural, healthy, and easy to live in, with results that grow out beautifully long after you leave the salon.

I’ve been hairdressing in the Comox Valley since 2016, and I’m very excited to join the team at Tinted Hair Studio.

If you’re looking for a cut to enhance and shape your natural curls, or a textured, edgy cut to express yourself, I might be the stylist for you. I love colouring hair to enhance its natural beauty just as much as I love creating vivid, creative looks. My goal is to create great hair that is easy to maintain, and that reflects your personality and style.

Tinted Hair Studio, set in the heart of downtown Courtenay, was created to be warm welcoming and relaxed. We’re a collective of experienced hairstylist focused on custom colour, blonding, modern grey blending, precision cuts and healthy, effortless hair.
